ACT/EXPOCAD announces ACT!2000 and Goldmine Contact Manager Link Chicago, IL - June 1, 2002 - Applied Computer Technology, Inc. (ACT), creators of EXPOCAD®, the popular graphical exposition sales and management software, announces that it has developed two new software links. The packages link EXPOCAD® to ACT!2000 and Goldmine contact management software. "Though EXPOCAD contains a simple contact manager, we saw the need for expo sales staff to have the best possible tool set for today's competitive environment," said Rich Stone, CEO for ACT, Inc./EXPOCAD®. "Having EXPOCAD ® linked to CRM (customer relationship management software) provides a powerful combination of software for exposition sales." EXPOCAD® has a 2-way link to both CRM packages. EXPOCAD® reads the contact information from the contact database and populates the appropriate information into EXPOCAD® for the sale, billing, and account receivables. EXPOCAD® then writes back to the contact database the date, show, booth size, square footage, and who logged the sale.
